NDMF Critic

Randy Hillier is PC Party Critic for Northern Development, Mining, and Forestry. As a longtime resident of a rural region of Ontario, Randy is familiar with the issues facing the North, including the need for development, lack of economic opportunities and the importance of infrastructure. Randy has been critical of government enacting Toronto-centric, or placing the concerns of environmentalists over the needs of actual northern citizens. He also has responsibility for the mining and forestry industries, which are crucial for economic stability in the North, and constantly presses for the changes needed to ensure the prosperous growth of Northern Ontario. He has, and continues to, travel widely in the north to spread this message.
